"For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister." Hebrews 6:10
The purpose and function of the Usher Ministry is to meet, greet and seat the visitors, parishioners and members attending worship services as they enter the Sanctuary, by directing them to available seating and receiving tithes and offerings. The Usher Ministry is far more than that of a door-keeper; it embraces the care and well-being of members and visitors while maintaining order in the House of God so that the Holy Spirit can minister through the Message. It is a ministry that operates in excellence with the understanding that our service is unto God. The ushers serve as watchmen, servants, and disciplinarians, among other things.
The Usher Ministry meets the 2nd and last Monday in each month at 7:00 p.m. at Hopewell East.
