The Tape Ministry was created in 1992 by Pastor Robert Stanley as a vision to spread the Word of God. The creation of this Ministry has reached beyond the four consecrated walls of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.  We have touched many with the distribution of our tapes: on the road at revivals, during our annual Thanksgiving Feast, and through our weekly services.  Our Ministry reaches those in need of a word from God who may not know our Lord and Saviour, as well as those who are unable to attend a Sunday Worship service.

In this new millennium, we have taken our Ministry to another level by becoming the “Media Ministry”.  The purpose is to oversee the production side of sound and visual.  Our calling is to take the Word to the world, making a mark that will not be erased. The Ministry incorporates video recording on DVD and VHS, as well as audio recording on CD and cassette. Most recently, the Media Ministry has added Live Video Streaming of our Mid-week Inspirational Service on Tuesday nights and our Sunday Worship service to Hopewell’s Website, which will enable us to broaden our the exposure of God’s word and touch people’s lives, internationally.  Currently, we are in preparation for televised service to also aid us in our mission to spread God’s word. Another new facet of this Minstry is the video-recorded Announcements which are aired every Sunday notifying as well as reminding members of specific events and other activities going on in our Ministry.

Our Ministry is responsible for the audio- and video-taping of every service. All sermons are available to the members and public for a nominal fee. The Media Ministry is self-supporting, and all donations are funneled back into the Ministry for the upgrade of equipment and technology to provide optimal audio and visual quality to our products.
